Dans les rues de New York, les prêcheurs récitent leur message pour persuader un public distrait, en brandissant des panneaux colorés. J'ai minutieusement répertorié et reproduit ces outils bricolés, conçus pour être remarquées et pratiques à manipuler. Une fois dénués des discours spectaculaires, ils pointent l'urgence et la détermination des prêcheurs à défendre leur foi. Ces formes individuelles et fragiles contrastent avec les grands récits collectifs religieux.

In the streets of New York, preachers recite their messages to persuade a distracted audience, wielding colourful signs. I meticulously catalogued and reproduced these makeshift tools, designed to be noticeable and easy to handle. Once stripped of their spectacular speeches, they highlight the urgency and determination of preachers to defend their faith. These individual and fragile forms contrast with the grand collective narratives of religion.
