Performance avec Clémence Rousseau (2021), durée variable, La Factatory, Lyon

Écrit pour une performance en duo, mon texte articule des pensées aléatoires consignées longtemps dans mon téléphone. Tout comme les mots qui prennent sens aux côtés d'autres, les êtres de mon texte évoluent de corps flottants et errants vers des corps sociaux, aimants et vivants, par la construction de la conscience, du langage et du lien avec les autres.
De son côté, Clémence invoque des paysages photographiés avec son portable, et prête un décor à mes pensées. Assises dans le coffre
d'une voiture, nous lisons nos textes simultanément, nos souvenirs s'entremêlent et semblent rapporter les traces d'un très long voyage.

Performance with Clémence Rousseau (2021), variable duration, La Factatory, Lyon, France

Written for a duo performance, my text articulates random thoughts I've kept on my phone for a while. Just as words gain meaning in the presence of others words, the characters in my text evolve from aimless bodies to social, loving, and living individuals through the construction of consciousness, language, and relationships with others.

On her part, Clémence conjures landscapes photographed with her phone, providing a backdrop for my thoughts. Sitting in a car’s trunk, we read our texts simultaneously, our memories intertwine, seemingly reporting the traces of a very long journey.
