Après avoir écouté et observé le quotidien à Bassillac, j'ai écrit un texte déclarant que la vie collective se déploie dans de micro-événements, des interactions sans intention manifeste, des préoccupations quotidiennes de personnes vivant côte à côte. Ces petites dynamiques aident à surmonter les tendances au rejet de l'autre. Ce texte est enregistré sur un CD que j’ai laissé dans la cabane à livres du village.
Pour l’exposition in-situ Une communauté sans tête, j'ai fidèlement reproduit les décors d'une scène d'inauguration avec la collaboration d'un agent municipal pour diffuser mon texte et inviter les visiteur·ses à participer. Pour étendre cette fiction un an plus tard, j'ai organisé un jeu de pétanque au Château de Cerisy, offrant ainsi le temps d'écouter ma lecture du texte.

After listening to and observing daily life in Bassillac, I wrote a text asserting that collective life unfolds in micro-events, interactions without manifest intention, and the daily concerns of people living side by side. These small dynamics help overcome tendencies to reject others. This text is recorded on a CD that I left in the village's book exchange hut.
For the in-situ exhibition Une communauté sans tête (A community with no head), I faithfully reproduced the settings of an inaugural scene with the collaboration of a municipal worker to broadcast my text and invite visitors to participate. To extend this fiction a year later, I organised a game of 'pétanque' at the Château
de Cerisy, offering time to listen to my reading of the text.
